A Dubbo man has come forward as the region’s mystery Keno winner, admitting he fought back tears when he discovered his life-enhancing $330,000 win in the recent draw.
The Orana region resident scored the Keno Classic 9 Spot jackpot prize in draw 330, drawn Sunday 27 August 2023 and took home a total prize of $336,075.90.
The New South Welshman came forward to claim his Keno fun money more than three days after the winning numbers were drawn.
“S*** yeah. What a surprise, hey?!” he exclaimed.
“I started crying! I was in shock. It still hasn’t really hit me.
“We just went to the local club for a couple of drinks. I decided to put on a game of Keno, and I didn’t expect to win!
“They were just a bunch of random numbers too!
“I really haven’t had a moment to sit down and think about what I’ll do with the prize. It’s been too overwhelming.
“I’ll put the prize to good use though.”
His winning entry was purchased at Dubbo RSL Memorial Club, 178 Brisbane Street, Dubbo.
The Dubbo RSL Memorial Club team are over the moon to have sold a major Keno winning entry at their venue and wishes their winner all the best with their windfall.
