A Clermont grandad is busy ticking items off his bucket list after watching his carefully crafted Keno numbers appear, delivering him a $150,000 win.

The regional Queensland player scored nine numbers on his Keno 10 Spot entry with a Bonus multiplier of three in game 294 on Monday 9 September 2019, walking away with a total prize of $150,000.

Confirming his win with a Keno official this morning, the winner relived the heart-stopping moment.

“I’m feeling great this morning!” he laughed.

“I play Keno every now and again and always choose my numbers.

“My numbers aren’t a special combination, I just pick them at random.

“But yesterday they certainly delivered for me so maybe now they are special!

“I was sitting at my local pub watching the draw unfold and saw every number I had picked pop up. It was a great feeling.

“I called my wife straight away. She didn’t believe me of course!”

The hardworking man said he’d use his prize to book plenty of unforgettable holidays, starting with Europe.

“It will make life a whole lot easier,” he said.

“I’ll definitely be booking a few holidays with my wife.

“We will share some of the prize with our kids and grandkids as well.

“We’ve been dreaming of heading to Italy and Spain so we will definitely be doing a huge European holiday soon!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Keno entry at Leo Hotel Motel - Clermont, 16 Capella Street, Clermont.

Leo Hotel Motel - Clermont owner Les Boal said there was plenty of excitement at the venue yesterday when one of his regular patrons scored the major prize.

“He was just about doing cartwheels in the pub when he realised he’d won,” he said.

“He was over-the-moon and so were we, it was very exciting!“This is the biggest Keno winning entry we’ve had here at the pub. We’re very happy for our winner!”
