A Clayfield woman’s 34-year-long Saturday ritual has delivered her a $58,000 Keno win worth savouring.

The Queenslander scored the Keno Classic 7 Spot jackpot with an x5 Bonus in draw 62, drawn Saturday 26 October 2024. She looks forward to a total prize of $58,502.30.

The cheery woman shared she always enjoyed playing a Bonus entry and dreaming of what she would do with a big win.

“I still can’t believe it,” the winning woman shared when speaking with Keno officials.

“I’ve been playing those same numbers for 34 years and never won anything remotely close to this!

“The numbers are a combination of special family numbers making the win extra sweet.

“It’s always been a bit of a Saturday ritual for me.

“The funny thing was that I nearly walked out of the venue without checking my ticket. Luckily, I didn’t.

“I’ve always played the Bonus game too. I’ve always liked the idea of winning more.

“It’s a wonderful surprise.”

With more than $58,000 soon to boost her bank account, the elated winner shared it still felt like a dream.

“It still doesn’t feel real,” she shared.

“Once I see the money maybe it will sink in.

“In the meantime, I’ll start planning a holiday.”

Her winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at Gallopers Sports Club, 304 Lancaster Road, Hamilton.

Gallopers Sports Club manager Caroline Neate shared she was overwhelmed with excitement when she found out the venue had sold a winning ticket worth more than $58,000.

“I think we were just as stunned as the winner,” she said.

“We feel so grateful to have been a part of her amazing win.

“The last big win we had was about a year ago, so we felt like we were due for another one.

Congratulations to our winner. We’re so happy for you!”
