It’s time to check your Keno tickets, Lakes Entrance! It’s possible a resident or visitor to the region has been going about their week without realising they won a 9 Spot prize worth $132,000!

The elusive eastern Victorian player scored the Keno Classic 9 Spot winning entry in draw 529, drawn Tuesday 7 February 2023 and took home a total prize of $132,236.80.

Officials from Keno have no way of contacting the winner to break the exciting news and must wait for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at Lakes Sports & Community Club, 38 Church Street, Lakes Entrance.

Keno spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eager to unite the mystery winner with their prize.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Keno ticket from Lakes Sports & Community Club last week to check their tickets today,” she said.

“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be hiding in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox, because the winner could be you!

“I’m not sure what is on the cards for this elusive winner, but this could be the boost they need for 2023!

“If you discover you’re holding the winning Keno Classic 9 Spot ticket, hold on to it and head into your closest venue as soon as possible to start the prize claim process!”

In FY22, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 62.2 million wins collectively worth more than $896.7 million.

During this time, Keno crowned 19 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $30.7 million.  Victoria’s biggest Keno win was by an East Melbourne man who won more than $2 million.

Victorians enjoyed more than 1.1 million Keno wins totalling more than $19.4 million at pubs and clubs across the state in the 12 months to 30 June 2022.

Keno players can also enter into the monthly second chance draw for the chance to win one of five $1,000 prizes by scanning their ticket at win.secondchance.keno.com.au.
