Gold Coast’s newest millionaire might be completely unaware they won more than $1.6 million in a recent Keno draw, with officials urging players in the area to check their tickets.
The Benowa player held a Keno Classic 10 Spot winning entry in draw 763, drawn Sunday 28 May 2023, and took home a total prize of $1,602,500.20.
However, the player has yet to check their winning ticket and start the prize claim process.
The winning Keno Classic 10 Spot entry was purchased at Benowa Tavern, 117 Ashmore Road, Benowa.
Benowa Tavern spokesperson Sharon Fox said they hoped their Keno winner checked their tickets soon.
“We’ve been asking all our Keno players who come into the venue to check their tickets. We’re hoping they’ve got the winning entry tucked away somewhere – perhaps in a wallet or purse,” she said.
“We’re desperate to unite our winner with their prize and can’t wait to see their reaction when they discover they’re the person we’ve been searching for.
“We really hope they realise their good fortune soon!”
