Carlingford man is planning an Italian getaway after discovering he won a Keno 8 Spot prize of more than $60,000 yesterday afternoon.

The New South Wales resident held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 273 on 26 June 2019, taking home $62,639.50.

Confirming his news with a Keno official this morning, the stunned man recalled how he was completely oblivious to his win until he checked his ticket a few hours after the draw.

“I am feeling very good! Very good indeed,” he laughed.

“I bought my entry and then I went and played lawn bowls with the boys for a bit of fun, so I didn’t see the numbers pop up. I had no idea I won!

“It wasn’t until I went to go check my entry later, that I realised.

“I was in shock to tell you the truth. I couldn’t believe it!

“It’s started to sink in now. I feel very happy.

“I celebrated with the guys at the club after I found out. I shouted them all drinks. We were certainly in a great mood!”

When asked how he planned to use his prize, the happy man said an overseas holiday was at the top of his list.

“I want to go on an extended holiday with my wife overseas,” he explained.

“We want to go on a big trip to Italy.”

“We’re thrilled for our customer and we hope to see more Keno winners in our venue soon.

“Congratulations to them. We have no doubt they’ll enjoying their prize!”
