A Cabramatta man confessed he was so shocked to discover his Keno Classic 9 Spot entry had scored him a prize worth over $100,000 that he walked right out of the pub and home so he could let the news sink in.

The happy winner held a Keno Classic 9 Spot winning entry in draw 686 drawn Monday 29 March 2021 and takes home a $105,653.90 prize.

Sharing his excitement with an official from Keno, he revealed how he came to hold the winning ticket.

“The Cabramatta Hotel is my local pub, so I am down there quite often,” he explained.

“Whenever I am there, I put some Keno on. I usually only play a 5 Spot with some of my favourite numbers made up of birthdays and things like that.

“But I had a bit of a win, so I replayed the money on a bigger ticket, and that’s the one that won.

“I saw the win come up on the screen and knew it was me. I just stood up and left. I couldn’t believe it.

“I didn’t know what to do! I was so shocked.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his Keno fun money, the winner confessed he wouldn’t believe it until he saw it in his bank account.

“I can’t plan on how I’ll spend it until I have it!” he laughed.

“Once I get it, I’ll have a think. Most likely, I’ll use it towards a deposit on a new home.”

The stoked bloke, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at the Cabramatta Hotel, 174-176 Cabramatta Road West, Cabramatta.
