A Crescent Head woman’s weekly bingo ritual took an extraordinary turn leading her to a Keno win worth $180,000.
The New South Wales woman scored the Keno Classic 9 Spot jackpot in draw 346, drawn Monday 21 October 2024. She won a total of $185,344.90.
The happy woman shared the win had come at a wondrous time as she had been planning some much-needed house renovations.
“I’ve still got butterflies!” she said while speaking to an official from Keno.
“I always go to bingo on Mondays and play Keno while I’m there. We didn’t have a win at bingo, but this is much better.
“I had a little cry. It’s not every day you win big! I’ve never won anything like this.
“I feel like I’m floating on air.
“I used a combination of special birthday numbers, so I think that’s the way to go.
“It’s come at the perfect time. We’re going to get some things fixed around the house. It’s a big job so it was going to be very expensive!
“I can’t wait to see my husband. He’s going to need to be sitting down when I tell him.
“Thank you so much.”
Her winning Keno Classic entry was purchased from Crescent Head Country Club, 1 Rankine Street, Crescent Head.
