A Beverly Hills man is now contemplating an extended holiday after scoring a Keno prize of almost $150,000 during his weekend getaway.
The New South Wales player held a Keno 9 Spot winning entry in game 86 on Saturday 25 January 2020, taking home $149,571.30.
Confirming his win with a Keno official this afternoon, the man recalled his winning weekend.
“I was holidaying at Coffs Harbour for the long weekend,” he explained.
“I wasn’t in the venue when the draw happened and I went back the following day to check my Keno ticket, and that’s when I realised I was almost $150,000 richer!
“I always play the same numbers and the same Keno entry and they certainly delivered for me on the weekend.
“It will be a holiday I won’t forget anytime soon.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his Keno fun money, the winner said he’d be making plans soon.
“I guess I could continue holidaying,” he laughed.
“I’m not too sure though. I am going to have to really think about it.
“It’s exciting, that’s for sure!”
The winning Keno 9 Spot entry was purchased at Coffs Ex-Services Club, 1 Vernon Street, Coffs Harbour.
Coffs Ex-Services Club CEO John Rafferty said he was pleased to see such a great win at the club over the long weekend.
“There was certainly a buzz throughout the venue amongst members and staff when they found out someone in the club had won close to $150,000,” he said.
