An Auburn man revealed his dinner was interrupted by the shock discovery that his Keno Classic 8 Spot entry had scored him a prize worth over $55,000.

The happy winner held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in draw 660, drawn Saturday 6 February 2021 and takes home a prize worth $55,552.30.

Speaking with a Keno official today, the stoked bloke recounted the moment he discovered the exciting win.

“I’ve been playing Keno for about 40 years,” he explained.

“I grab an entry whenever I am down at the pub, and that’s what I did on Saturday.

“Afterwards, I walked home to make dinner.

“I was halfway through when I checked my ticket on my phone and saw that I had the eight numbers.

“I went straight back down to the pub without finishing dinner to check my ticket!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his Keno fun money, the happy man said he was eyeing off a new set of wheels.

“I will buy a new car!” he declared.

“I’ll also use it towards some bills. It will be good not to have to worry about them as they come in!”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Keighery Hotel – Auburn, 51 Rawson Street, Auburn.
