An Albion Park man has declared he will soon be making tracks on a new motorbike after scoring a Keno 8 Spot prize worth over $81,000.

The New South Wales player held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 192 on Monday 27 January 2020, taking home a major prize of $81,772.00.

Confirming his win with a Keno official this morning, the man recounted how he came to hold the winning ticket.

“I was just down at my local pub for a catch up with mates,” he revealed.

“I usually play Keno whenever I am down there. It’s always a bit of fun!

“I can’t believe I won this much!

“I’m definitely hoping for the Spot 10 jackpot one day! Hopefully we will be talking again soon!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his fun money the winner revealed he was revved up by the idea of buying a new set of wheels.

“I’ll definitely be buying a new motorbike!” he declared.

“The way I see it, the windfall is there for a bit of fun so that’s what I’ll spend it on!”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Albion Park Hotel, Terry Street, Albion Park.

Albion Park Hotel assistant manager Adam Rouse said he was thrilled a regular customer had scored a major prize.

“This is the biggest Keno winning entry we’ve ever sold, so we are stoked!” he exclaimed.

“It’s really exciting to know it’s gone to a local and a regular customer.

“Congratulations to our winner! We wish him all the best!”

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 64 million wins collectively worth more than $853 million.
