A man from Jimboomba is one step closer to kicking back and living the good life with a $62,000 Keno win set to fast-track his retirement dreams.

The Logan resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in draw 327, drawn Saturday 10 May 2025, and looks forward to a neat $62,283.00.

This marks the second major Keno win to hit the Logan region this year, boosting the area's total prize haul to $152,048.10.

“Thanks a lot! I’m in disbelief,” he laughed when an official from Keno confirmed the windfall.

“There’s a lot of shock!

“You have the best job ringing people and telling them they’ve won money!

“We like to visit the Veresdale Hotel. It’s a regular spot for us but we never expected to win anything – it’s definitely the most I’ve ever won in my entire life.

“I haven’t told a soul. I’ll probably keep it quiet.

“This will definitely be put towards retirement.

“Cheers Keno!”

His winning entry was purchased at Veresdale Hotel, 6202 Mount Lindesay Highway, Veresdale.

In 2024, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76 million wins collectively worth more than $1. billion.

During this time, Keno crowned 23 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $54.9 million.  Ten of these major winners were Queenslanders, including a Crows Nest man whose favourite numbers scored him $5.5 million.

Queenslanders enjoyed more than 26.9 million Keno wins totalling more than $461.2 million at pubs and clubs across the state in 2024.
