A Muswellbrook woman is looking forward to packing her bags and finally completely The Big Lap of Australia thanks to her recent $53,000 Keno win.
The New South Wales resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in draw 507, drawn Sunday 22 February 2026. She looks forward to a total prize of $53,538.20.
“What a great surprise!” she laughed when speaking to an official from Keno.
“I had a strong gut feeling when I was playing yesterday.
“I went out for tea, and then the next thing I knew, people were buzzing around the club that there was a Keno Classic 8 Spot won.
“Word spread so fast that my husband called me while I was in the bathroom. He said, ‘Honey you’ve got to come out here and check the ticket’.
“Lo and behold, it was us! We were the winners.
“We might finally be able to hit the road with our caravan and travel around Australia.”
Her winning Keno entry was purchased at Muswellbrook & District Workers Club, 15-17 Sydney Street, Muswellbrook.
Muswellbrook & District Workers Club supervisor Drew Dunn-Phillips shared it was exciting to have a major prize won in venue worth more than $53,000.
“It’s always exciting to sell another major prize-winning entry,” he said.
“It was only a couple of months ago that we sold another 8 Spot ticket and it’s great to have the momentum in venue.
“Congratulations to our lucky winner!”
