A group of girlfriends had more than a Friday night gossip over drinks after their joint Keno 8 Spot win scored them a prize worth over $52,000.
The Melbourne women held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 890 on Friday 28 June 2019, scoring a massive prize of $52,946.10.
Sharing her excitement with a Keno official today, one of the over-the-moon winners revealed the Keno prize was completely unexpected.
“I don’t usually play Keno but I was out with a couple of girlfriends for dinner and drinks and we thought we’d have some fun and play Keno,” she explained happily.
“It was just fantastic when we realised we had won! It was completely unexpected. It felt magical!
“We are regulars at our local and we know all the staff so it was legendary to celebrate with them too!”
When asked how they planned to enjoy their Keno fun money, the happy woman confessed a “girls’ getaway” was on the agenda.
“We decided we’ll divide it between all of us and use it to pay for a holiday to Fiji in September!” she declared.
The group of girlfriends, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their winning Keno 8 Spot entry at Lower Plenty Hotel, 4 Main Road, Lower Plenty.
